Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting, Wako Zul Elfian Umar Kunjungi Rumah Warga Berisiko Ekstrim Stunting
Wali Kota Solok, Zul Elfian Umar sebagai Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting Kota Solok mengunjungi rumah salah satu warganya yang berisiko ekstrim stunting di Taratak, Kelurahan Tanah Garam, Senin (8/5).
Adapun anak beresiko ekstrim stunting bernama Agustin Ramadhani berusia 9 bulan, anak kedua dari dua orang bersaudara buah hati dari pasangan Anasrul dan Fitrini. Anasrul sehari-hari bekerja sebagai tukang ojek dan berjualan di rumah, sementara istrinya bekerja mengurus rumah tangga.
Program Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting merupakan program dari BKKBN Pusat dan telah banyak dilaksakanan di Provinsi, Kabupaten dan Kota se-Indonesia. Kunjungan lapangan kali ini juga merupakan tindak lanjut dari pengukuhan Wali Kota Solok, Zul Elfian Umar dan Wakil Wali Kota, Ramadhani Kirana Putra sebagai Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting pada tanggal 13 April 2023 lalu.
Kegiatan itu berupa pemberian bantuan selama enam bulan berturut-turut yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan asupan gizi anak. Adapun bantuan yang diserahkan berupa beras, susu, biskuit bayi, serta telur.
Saat mengunjungi rumah keluarga Anasrul yang dinilai tidak layak huni, Wali Kota Solok secara spontan menghubungi Kepala Dinas Perumahan dan Kawasan Pemukiman Kota Solok untuk melakukan bedah rumah tersebut sehingga bisa layak huni.
Wako mengatakan, Pemerintah Kota Solok melalui OPD terkait akan mengupayakan secepatnya mengatasi gizi anak yang terkena stunting, serta kakaknya yang sekolah SD juga akan dijaga gizinya.
“Untuk rumah yang ditempati akan secepatnya kita bedah, agar rumah menjadi rumah layak huni. Ini merupakan tugas bersama antara Pemko Solok beserta elemen terkait untuk membantu masyarakat kita,” tandas Wako.
Turut mendampingi Wako, Kepala Dinas Pengendalian Penduduk dan KB Kota Solok, Ardinal beserta jajaran, Camat Lubuk Sikarah, Elsye Desilina, Kabag Prokomp, Deddy Agung Pratama, serta RT setempat. (dd)
